At String Theory we feature yarn from companies that are environmentally friendly and socially responsible: Manos del Uruguay, Blue Sky Alpaca, Woolfolk, Handspun Hope, Appalachian Baby Cotton and more. We love color, so at any time you might find Malabrigo, Madelinetosh, Knitted Wit, Dream in Color, and our exclusive Migration Yarn - but they arrive when they want to and disappear quickly.

We are raising money today to support the efforts of the Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation to not only preserve land but to connect with the people that lived here first.
15% of all sales made on Indigenous Peoples Day will go to the JDCF.
Schurmeier Forest is just one of the many properties in their care. It just happens to be the one I played in as a kid and enjoy hiking through as an adult.
