Strut Dance Studio Community of Independent Dance Instructors with a mission to help you find confidence in your dance The iconic Ballroom City has now become Strut Dance Studio.

Brittney Valdez, one of Ballroom City's dedicated dancers and instructors, took ownership of the studio in February of 2021. Ballroom City had a 25-year history of providing the Chicagoland area a place to social dance, take dance lessons, and most importantly, make lifelong friendships. The many cherished memories made over that amazing 25-year history provides the foundation for Strut Dance Stud

io. While the studio's name has changed, the mission to provide the dance community with somewhere to call home remains. The multi-talented group of instructors at Strut will continue to share their passion for dance with students, building on the sense of community that came before it.

**Reminder that Friday 6/19, the dance floor will be open at 6 pm before 7 pm lessons for open practice to review what you learned in class, crash course some of the basics of dances you're less familiar with, get comfortable with new styling you want to incorporate, or practice a line dance you want to nail. Take advantage of the mirrors to help you link what you feel while dancing and what it looks like AS well as Brittney hanging around to help with any questions you may have 🤠

Then we meet each other where we're at in our learning and let loose together on the dance floor! The BEST part for sure 😎

Debut events were a success! Now it's time to bring on Group Classes and Events! The fun starts TODAY, 6/13 with Second Saturday Swing feat. DJ Trendsetta

**Monday 6/15 - Group Classes begin!!!!

We are beyond excited to offer a class AND in-studio open dance event representing almost every style of dance we specialize in giving you a chance to practice your learned moves in real time 🤩 The mission: help build your competence and confidence on the dance floor amongst friends and familiar faces, preparing you to take your dancing with you wherever you go, ready to bust a move when the music calls for it 🕺💃

We’ve carefully crafted a system to give you as tailored a learning experience as possible in a group setting while remaining drop-in friendly, and also progressive in nature for those who really want to dive in and level up their dancing! We are prepared to cater to Absolute Beginner through Novice/Intermediate during the allotted time frames listed unless a level is specified on the schedule. You simply drop in to the level of learning you are at, with the level of consistency you can manage 🙌

Previous experience or not, join the fun - AND bring friends 😎
No Partner Necessary
