Witching Hour: Waiting for Monty with Diva Darling, November 6th, at The Puppet Co.!

Diva Darling (she/her) has been a DMV-based burlesque and nightlife performer for over a decade, putting the "imp" back in "imperious" with her signature blend of fat liberation, high femme spectacle, and absurd comedy. She's been a producer and femme-cee since 2016 for shows encompassing burlesque/variety, storytelling, and experimental theater. She produces and hosts the spicy storytelling open mic S**t Slam in DC and Baltimore. She's also a burlesque teacher, an actor, playwright, and published fiction author including the novel MetamorphosUS (as Rebecca Rose Vassy) and the short spicy story "Frenzy" in BWEOTY Vol. 8. She co-produces the rowdy bar lecture series Nerd Nite DC with Rae Pendergrass and navi, leads a polyamory discussion group at the DC Center for the LGBTQ+ Community, and produces and hosts the SpeakTeasy burlesque show. She puts the witch back in Witching Hour with her tarot reading hustle and can often be found reading at parties and events in the area. In her misleadingly-named free time, she's a devoted neonatal kitten foster mom. Follow her at divanations.com.

Witching Hour: Waiting for Monty with Fox E. Martin, November 6th, at The Puppet Co.!

Beginning their stage journey on the outskirts of Baltimore, this androgynous beauty have been blazing through the burlesque world for well over a decade. While you can typically find them spinning tassels, behind a glitter goatee, or arguing with their sewing machine, they have found a new passion in the world of puppetry. An animal by trade, but an icon on the stage, here's the irresistibly, irresponsible, Fox E. Martin.

You can also see Fox E. Martin at Savage Cabaret in Harrisburg, PA on October 10th, and at Fox's Diner at Le Mondo in Baltimore on October 17th!

Attendees of Fox's Diner can pick up an exclusive, alternate version of Fox's card, only available at Fox's Diner!!

Witching Hour: Waiting for Monty with Violet Gray, November 6th, at The Puppet Co.!

A gender non-conforming comic of over 15 years, Violet Gray has opened for comics who have opened for some of the best. Someone who often looks as though she married into the Addams Family her aesthetic is often darker than her material, which runs the gamut from her experiences navigating gender to socio-political commentary to Sci-Fi/Fantasy geek fandom.

Witching Hour: Waiting for Monty with Cunning Stunt, November 6th, at The Puppet Co.!

Cunning Stunt is the impossibly possible man. He is a drag king, emcee, and producer based in NYC. He hosts Manhattan's only Drag King and Thing Revue THRONE at Club Cu***ng in the East Village. You can catch him on World Of Wonders six part docu-series about the life and times of Alan Cu***ng’s Iconic cabaret club Club Cu***ng now streaming on the WOW presents plus platform, also available on BBC Scotland and Crave TV. He is the host and producer of Kings Cup (Drag King competition) and NYC’s only weekly Drag King Bingo. His work has been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine, The Washington Post, Thotessy, and Singola Italia. In the daytime he is a food and history tour guide and would love to take a stroll around town discussing the history of the greatest city in the world. Cunning Stunt is a drag king, a heart throb, and definitely the boy your mother warned you about.

Remember when Witching Hour introduced Daisy O'Danny to the world and then we sent her back in time a quarter of a century, so she could hone her skills through decades of performing at the Maryland Renaissance Festival? Well, she learned nothing, but we're thrilled to have her for yet another show anyway, because if she can't learn from her mistakes, then neither can we! Get your tickets to Daisy O'Danny's Spooky Hootenanny! October 30th at The Puppet Co.

Witching Hour: Waiting for Monty with Orion St. Michael, November 6th, at The Puppet Co.!

Orion St. Michael is Baltimore’s Hunter of Hearts whose smile is filled with starlight. He lights up the DMV with cosplay, variety and burlesque performances, and the occasional flash of fire-eating/breathing spectacle. Orion lives for the moment when smiles break out and eyes go wide, because nothing excites him more than awakening wonder and emotions audiences didn’t even know they had.

Witching Hour: Waiting for Monty with Paige O'Malley & Penny Pancakes, November 6th, at The Puppet Co.!

Paige O'Malley has been a professional puppeteer for over 2 decades. She currently performs as the puppet mascot for DC Public Schools, voicing their beloved, non-binary character, Scribbles. Paige has performed puppetry on stages in 27 different states, during multiple national tours with Swazzle Puppet Studio, who also constructed her original character, Penny Pancakes! They are excited to carry on this 'streak' of bringing their naughty brand of whimsy to this historic stage. For more on Paige's theatrical work and Penny's origin story, visit www.paigeomalley.com.
