Glen Echo Park Aquarium We exhibit the freshwater and marine animals of the Chesapeake Bay Estuary. See, touch, and learn! We also host fun, educational birthday parties.

Our small, hands-on aquarium is the perfect place for families with young children and school groups. Due to our small size and frequent hosting of private events, visitors should reserve timed-entry tickets online at https://www.gepaquarium.org/visit-us. You may also call or text 571-334-8713 to make a reservation. We do timed entrance every 30 minutes for up to 15 guests, starting at 9 am. We ha

ve live animals in our exhibit hall and some displays and games on our front patio. Most families stay between 45 to 60 minutes. Our education staff and volunteers are always on hand to answer your questions and offer information and stories about our animals. Please note that we are frequently closed on weekend days from 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 5pm for private birthday parties.
