This past weekend at iKALI HQ we not only celebrated Tuhon Apolo Ladra's 60th Birthday, but recognized the hard work his students have done to be awarded their instructor promotion ranks.
The physical work is easy. Years of sweat and dedication toward a common goal. The sacrifice of time and mental stress to stay the course when life happens is why emotions flowed upon receiving their prestigious ranks/titles.
We Honor Tuhon Apolo and the work he has passionately put in by accepting his endorsements.
Our responsibility is to plant and harvest the teachings trusted upon us.
Throughout the weekend, everyone came to understand the Filipino Concept of Bayanihan - our upliftment of community.
It is our hope all will return back and spread this to their areas of the globe.
