There is so much happening in the studio right now.

Pastel. Oil. Pastel. Oil.

The teacher has become the student. I’ve never painted with oils, and it’s all brand new. Especially since I’ve chosen to work only with palette knife.

I return to pastels to regain confidence and find familiar ground.

It’s all about creating.

The first picture was taken at 4am, leaving for an epic adventure with and .

I had no idea that I would come home with a bucket of inspiration so full it is overflowing.

I am at least 4 or 5 pieces into this 30+ piece series with sizes ranging (so far) from 9x12 to 36x36.

Notably, this is the first series of mine that will also include oil paintings, and I’m excited to share them!

This collection ranges from jewel tones to a muted impressionist palette. It’s a perfect grouping for a high end spa or office looking for a calming presence. Interested in the entire series for your design project? Just send me a message.
