🎭🎶 SOKYAC STUDENT PROGRAMS ARE BACK! 🎶🎭
We’re so excited to invite students to be part of the 2026–27 SOKY Arts Collective Student Programs — SOKY Songbirds & SOKY Spotlights!
And this year, we’re adding something NEW! ✨
🌟 LITTLE SONGBIRDS / SPOTLIGHTS
A brand-new section for our youngest performers, ages 4–8!
🎶 SOKY SONGBIRDS
A choir open to students ages 9 and up.
🎭 SOKY SPOTLIGHTS
An acting troupe for students ages 9 and up.
The programs meet back-to-back at Barren County Middle School’s Orchestra Room, making it easy for students who love both singing AND acting to participate in both!
But you only have to choose one! ❤️
👉 Prefer acting? Join Spotlights and perform speaking roles — no singing required!
👉 Love singing but not acting? Join Songbirds and sing in the show — no speaking lines required!
📅 Mondays | September 14–November 30
🧚 Little Songbirds/Spotlights: 4:00–4:30 PM
🎶 Songbirds: 4:30–5:15 PM
🎭 Spotlights: 5:30–6:30 PM
🎄 AND WHAT ARE WE PERFORMING?!
This fall, our students will present:
✨ A Christmas Line: A North Pole Musical ✨
A fun-filled 30-minute holiday musical featuring a cast of familiar North Pole characters — three elves, a not-so-famous reindeer, a stage-worthy snowman, Mrs. Claus, and a regular kid named Cameron — all auditioning for the annual holiday revue!
And who is directing the show?
🎅 Santa Claus — heard through the sound system but never seen!
Our performance will be December 6th (additional details coming soon!)
💚 SUGGESTED DONATION:
$60 for the first student
$30 for each additional student in the same family
These tax-deductible contributions stay with our student programs and help cover insurance, course materials, costumes, sets, and props.
Payments can be made at our first class meeting, or electronically through the registration form or our website.
And if the cost is a concern, please reach out to us! We want students to have the opportunity to participate, and we are happy to talk with families about options. ❤️
