In the studio today putting the final touches on a show for the Bozeman Art Walk this coming Friday.

The kind folks at Barton Perreira invited me to showcase the rustic beauty and big sky of Eastern Montana during the month of August.

This project I'm proud to have been a part of...

The new Montana Drought Management plan.

Montana is so, so dependent on its climate in pretty much all aspects.

The farm and ranch industry to tourism and most everything in between and I have been watching Montana's and the worlds climate change in my lifetime...

I mean this winter so far has been something and we all truly know this hasn't been normal.

Though the cold is coming! Might need to break out my longjohns come the middle of the month...

We need to understand what changes to expect and have a plan to respond, adjust, and adapt!

So I'm pretty proud to be a part of this project in my small way...

Sunset on the Solstice

Fort Peck, Montana

It's been very, very mild weather wise with unseasonably warm temperatures and practically no snow. But even though the days are now getting longer winter is just starting and I think old Mother Nature has a trick or two up her sleeve yet!

But I'll enjoy it while I can and it was nice being out at the lake without freezing my assets off! Lol!
