Three shows and four pairs of ripped pants later, we are proud and a little sad to be wrapping up "Feet to the Fire." This project would not have been possible without the extraordinary support we received from many individuals.
We are so grateful to the amazing staff and volunteers of the Kansas City Fringe Festival for creating an opportunity for us to present our work. We also would like to thank Hannah Luzicka of Luzicka Ballet and Lindsey Smith of VidaDance for making rehearsal space accessible to us. Anyone looking for quality dance education should learn more about these two relatively young dance schools. Furthermore, Joy Capponi of Philadelphia Dance Theater provided studio space for Rachael's initial rehearsals.
Were it not for Cydney Chibnall and Michaela Knittel (photography), and Jaclynn Greeman (graphic design), this show would likely have been advertised on finger painted posters. Thank you for sharing your time and considerable talents with us.
We would also like to thank Suzanne Ryan and Leigh Murray for their guidance as we made our first attempt at producing a Fringe show.
There are many more people who contributed to "Feet to the Fire," especially the families and friends of all the dancers. To the people mentioned here, and everyone else who helped along the way, thank you!
Finally, I would personally like to thank my fellow choreographer, Rachael Gnatowski, and all of the dancers involved in this production: Christina Aiello, Nora Burkitt, Samantha Bennett, Brock Maze, Brooke McPheeters, Jessica Frazier, and John David DeNeff. They gave their time, abundant skills, and their passion to this endeavor, and it would have been nothing without them.
Until the next adventure!
