🧶 I NEED YOUR HELP! 🌻

I’ve been working on a new crochet scrubbie and made it in two slightly different sizes.

🩵 SMALL
💛 LARGE

Before I film the tutorial and type up the pattern, I want to know which size YOU like better!

Which one would you rather use?

I can’t wait to see which one wins! 🧶💛

🧶 Getting Back to Crochet — One Stitch at a Time 🌻

Some of you may have noticed that I haven’t been crocheting or posting as much lately.

I was recently diagnosed with OPA1-related Dominant Optic Atrophy, a genetic condition affecting my optic nerves that has caused significant vision loss.

Crochet has been such a big part of my life for so many years, and although it has become more challenging for me, I’m definitely not ready to put down my hook. 🧶❤️ I’m learning to adapt, take my time, and enjoy creating in whatever way works for me.

You may also see me sharing more about my vision journey — what I’m learning, how I’m adapting, and what everyday life with low vision is really like. If you’re interested in that part of my journey too, I’d love to have you follow along. 🌻

But don’t worry… Happy Rock Crafts is still very much about CROCHET! 😂🧶

And today it feels really good to have my hook in my hand again. I’m working the beautiful camel stitch, which creates these gorgeous horizontal, almost knit-looking rows. 💗🩵

Have you ever tried the camel stitch?

to Life

No talking. No tutorial. Just a relaxing minute of crochet.

There's something so satisfying about watching each star form one stitch at a time.
