A window painter from Illinois once said that there’s no way it’s more humid in Texas than it is in Illinois.😋
I lived in the N Suburbs of Chicago for 2 years. I lived in Ottowa, Illinois (farm country) for 2 years.
I was born & raised in Texas & that’s where I live now.
I loved the weather in Illinois. Yes it’s -17° in the winter, but summertime is glorious. Mild temps, low humidity, cool breeze at night. Perfect painting weather.
Illinois may have lots & lots of corn🤓, but
painting a mural outside in Texas when the humidity is at 427% is 🐂 🌽 & that’s what we have here.🤠

This is my own, personal window that I paint often.Last night I made the sun smaller. When I finished it looked fine. The lines were crisp & the orange was fully covered.

1st pic is this morning.
2nd pic is this afternoon.
I can pretty much guarantee that, on its own, that paint will be dry by September.😉😁

2 small greenhouse, built using old windows.
I usually post here before listing on marketplace, in case you guys are interested.
The one with the steep roof is 48x39x30.5.
The one with the flat top that opens is 47.5x32x21.
They’re both on castors & sealed with an exterior sealer.
$75 each.

That cross & that empty grave? That was Jesus. I hope you know Him. If you don’t, grab a Bible and read what He has to say. His words are in the New Testament & the letters are red.
You can’t think you know Him because you know people, even good people. He’s so much more than that.
If you need hope, love, truth, healing, protection, recovery, deliverance, direction, divine intervention, a miracle, then you need Jesus. He is all of it. He’s everything & He loves you.

Have a beautiful Spring & a happy Easter knowing how very much you are loved.

I mentioned a while back that the
mural I painted for Katie Russell Ragland’s room is part of an amazing lake house remodel Mrs. Lilly Russell-Jones is finishing up.
I’ve painted a lot of houses and let me just say that Mrs. Lilli has a true gift. I don’t have before pics but I’ve seen them & WOW. This house was small and dark and closed off with a low ceilings & small windows. Her choices completely transformed the whole house. Placing a closet behind where the door opens up to her sewing room & the shower behind the door in the guest bath - genius! Pocket doors to the laundry room, master bath & walk in closet - brilliant! Raising the ceiling in the main area + the large windows & sprawling deck overlooking the lake make this a home that draws you to a place of peace. The added built-ins like the amazing pantry, kitchen cabinets, linen closet & bookshelves provide so much storage space!
Every faucet, every ceiling fan, every k**b, handle, light fixture, tile & vanity mirror was carefully chosen. Watching it all come together, beautifully, as I painted every day, was so much fun.
Mrs. Lilli didn’t just sit & manage the project though. She & I painted most of this house together. Plus, I looked up several times to find her installing k**bs & handles herself. Not out of frustration, but because she could. She’s the most patient and pleasant homeowner I’ve ever known. I’m pretty sure she chooses to be that way and that I should make that same choice.🙂
Grateful for the work & super grateful for the new friend.
