UPDATES AND CLARIFICATIONS✅
We have had some artists reach out to us with some confusion about the eligible mediums for our upcoming Paper + Fiber Frida Exhibition, so we will clarify here!
Works must be composed of at least 85% paper or fiber, including but not limited to: watercolor, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, and mixed media. (Work can be on ANY paper - it does not have to be handmade. Works do not have to contain both paper and fiber.)
We invite artists to submit 1-3 works for consideration in our in-person show. Gilroy artists will receive priority.

Artist Notifications: By October 17th
Artwork Drop-Off: October 11th -October 21st (by appointment)
Exhibition Opens/Reception: October 24th, during the La Ofrenda Festival
Artwork Pick-Up: January 2nd - January 10th (by appointment)
Eligibility: Emerging and mid-career artists based in Gilroy and the surrounding region.
We are still looking for a local artist to co-curate with talented artist and Frida oficianado, Rachel-Anne Palacios. Rachel has been putting on a Frida show for years in the Bay and we are so excited to have the opportunity to bring it to the South Bay!
