The Campbell County Recreation Foundation (CCRF), in partnership with Campbell County, is proud to announce that we have engaged Pointe Strategies to lead the development of a comprehensive master plan for the Red Rock Trails.
Pointe Strategies is a nationally recognized planning and design firm with deep experience in outdoor recreation, trail systems, and community-driven projects. Their work across Wyoming includes trail and recreation planning efforts that balance user experience, sustainability, and working landscapes—making them an ideal partner for this project.
This master plan will guide the creation of a 15-20+ mile multi-use trail system in the Centennial Section, designed for hikers, runners, and mountain bikers of all abilities. The vision includes adaptive-accessible trails, bike-optimized routes, improved trailhead infrastructure, and interpretive elements that celebrate the area’s natural and cultural heritage—all while respecting existing land uses like grazing and county operations.
Planning and design work will officially begin in May, kicking off a collaborative process that will include site analysis, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable trail design strategies. The goal is to deliver a complete, implementation-ready plan by the end of the year.
This partnership marks a major milestone in creating a premier outdoor destination for Campbell County—one that supports community health, responsible recreation, and long-term stewardship of our landscape.
Stay tuned for updates as this project moves forward.
