The progress of the dragon Jonathan is working on!
How cool!!!

Thank you to Jonathan Chappell (with help from Brian Lamore and Paul Wonsey) for their work on the dragon for the upcoming production of Shrek!

TFHS's (where I work) musical (TFHS Theater) is Shrek. And you can't have Shrek without a dragon.

This has been an amazing project. if successful, one student puppeteer will be able to have the dragon puppet walk, talk, blink, shake the head, wag the tail, and have a little arm movement.

I took today's snow day to come into my room at school and work. it's a fascinating build. And I often wonder... why do I have the need to build such things? I could be at home relaxing.

I think Adam Savage summed it up best: "going back to the making thing- going back to the magic of objects transforming... on their own? And transforming us... these objects that I have made over the course of my life- they change me"
