Behind every survivor is a story of determination, hope, and the support of family, friends, caregivers, and medical professionals who walked beside them through difficult days.

We celebrate those who have fought, those who are still fighting, and the loved ones who have supported them every step of the way.

If you know a cancer survivor, take a moment today to let them know how much they inspire you. 💜

These amazing animals can be found throughout the Granite State and have an incredible sense of smell that helps them find food from miles away! 👃

Fun Fact: Despite being called “black” bears, some New Hampshire black bears are actually brown or cinnamon-colored!

Did you know that research has shown eggs may play an important role in healthy growth during infancy?
In a randomized controlled trial, researchers found that infants who were given one egg per day for six months experienced improved growth and had a significantly lower prevalence of stunting compared to children who did not receive eggs.

Eggs are packed with high-quality protein, healthy fats, choline, vitamin B12, and other essential nutrients that support growing bodies and developing brains.
Whether it’s scrambled, hard-boiled, or part of a favorite breakfast, eggs are a simple and nutritious option for little ones! 🍳

Did you know that the American Academy of Pediatrics has stated:
“Optimum foot development occurs in the barefoot environment.”

When children go barefoot in safe environments, they’re doing more than having fun — they’re building stronger foot muscles, improving balance and coordination, developing body awareness, and supporting healthy movement patterns.

At The Playroom, we love opportunities for children to move, explore, climb, balance, and play the way their bodies were designed to!
