🎈 Balloon Artist Question + A Possible Solution…

Have you ever set two electric balloon pumps to the exact same size… but one balloon still comes out slightly bigger than the other? 😅

Lately I’ve noticed this happening during installs, and while it might seem small — those tiny size differences add up fast when you’re building a design. It means stopping to manually resize balloons, losing momentum, and spending extra time perfecting something that should already match.

So I’m curious…👉🏼 Has any other balloon designer experienced this?

After running into this enough times, my Harbor Husband Bobby and I started testing a valve restrictor system we designed to help regulate sizing more consistently — and it’s been a game changer for us so far.

Hi! I'm SARAH- the new owner and creative behind Harbor Balloons. I'm honored to step into this beautiful business and continue bringing elevated, joy-filled balloon designs to Gig Harbor and around the Puget Sound.

Harbor Balloons was founded by Mika Stutzman in 2022, whose creativity and passion built the heart of what this brand represents today.

As she begins her next chapter, I'm grateful to be entrusted to carry on her legacy every day. Ensuring Harbor Balloons stays true to the modern, design-focused experience rooted in thoughtful details, sophisticated style, and genuine connection.

I'm a Washington Native, a wife to my husband Bobby, a mother to my 6-year-old son and bonus mom to two teenagers that inspire me every day. I am someone who has always been drawn to creativity and celebrations. Outside of Balloons, I also work in aviation- So it feels only natural that I fell in love with designing pieces that quite literally lift moments higher.

My vision for Harbor Balloons is simple: to create beautiful, intentional installations that feel effortless, elevated, and personal-whether it's a corporate event, milestone celebration, or something just because.

Thank you for being here and for supporting this next chapter of Harbor Balloons, this small business has big dreams. I can't wait to create something special with you!

We did it. 💜🎈

On Thursday, I officially signed the papers and handed Harbor Balloons over to its new owner, Sarah.

SARAH — I am so happy for you!! ✨
I hope you love this business and these clients as deeply as I have over the past three and a half years. This little dream turned into something so special, and I already know you have big plans ahead. I can’t wait to watch you grow Harbor Balloons into everything it’s meant to be.

For anyone wondering — Harbor Balloons isn’t going anywhere.

Everything will remain the same:
✨ Same business
✨ Same office location
✨ Same level of care and creativity

And you’re in amazing hands. Sarah is already an incredible balloon artist, and this business couldn’t have a better next chapter! It's going to be HUGE.

I’ll be officially signing off on Tuesday and fully handing the reins over to Sarah. While this chapter is ending for me, a new one is just beginning.
