Enjoy the little things. I got the go ahead from the Doc to have my brace unlocked at 90 degrees when I'm sitting for a few hours each day. A luxury I have missed for the past three weeks. Still non weight bearing until May 1st but I can sit somewhat normally to do some carving each day. Western PA's bipolar weather allowed me and Drax to spend some time carving on the deck.

One week into a mcl and meniscal root tear repair. Looking at 3 months on the shelf. I got the news today that I'm ahead of schedule with both range of motion and strength. Im busting my ass to shave as much time off of recovery as I can while still optimally healing.

The good news is that for at least the next 7 weeks I have more time to work on gourds than I think I've ever had. All leading up to the PA Gourd Festival in June. Its going to be interesting.
