Dear Dance Families,
Recital week is almost here, and we are so excited to celebrate all that our students have accomplished this season! As we prepare for our annual recital, Beauty for Ashes, we encourage every family to carefully review all previously distributed recital information so that you are fully prepared for Dress Rehearsal on June 19th and the performance on June 20th at 2:00 PM.
Please continue spreading the word to friends, family members, neighbors, and anyone who would enjoy being encouraged through the arts. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/beauty-for-ashes-dance-recital-tickets-1987623860472?aff=oddtdtcreator Our students have worked incredibly hard, and we would love to fill the auditorium with supportive faces as they share their gifts on stage.
Recital Day Information
We are excited to offer several special opportunities in the lobby before and after the performance:
Studio merchandise and gifts will be available for purchase.
Families who pre-ordered flower bouquets through Butterfly Blooms will be able to pick them up in the lobby. If you have not ordered your bouquet and would like to here is the link. https://form.jotform.com/251353295816158
Additional gifts may be available to help celebrate your dancer's accomplishment.
We want to encourage families to consider recognizing their dancer with flowers or a small gift. Performing on stage requires tremendous courage and vulnerability. For many students, stepping in front of an audience is a major milestone. Our dancers are not simply performing steps—they are pouring their hearts onto the stage through movement, expression, and storytelling.
A flower bouquet, note of encouragement, or small gift can serve as a meaningful reminder that their hard work, dedication, and bravery are seen and appreciated.
Why Dance and Performance Matter
Dance is about so much more than technique. Through dance and performance, students learn how to express themselves creatively, build confidence, and discover the joy of using the gifts God has given them. They learn perseverance, discipline, teamwork, and the courage to step outside their comfort zones.
Most importantly, dance helps students become excited about who God has called them to be.
Our studio motto is:
"Training the professionals for tomorrow while reaching people for Jesus today."
Not every student will grow up to become a professional dancer, and that is perfectly okay. Our students may become nurses, veterinarians, police officers, community leaders, ministry leaders, teachers, business owners, or pursue countless other callings. Whatever path they choose, their future will be influenced by the positive experiences they have during their youth.
We hope they remember the lessons learned here—that they can do hard things, that excellence is worth pursuing, and that they were surrounded by teachers who believed in them, encouraged them, and helped them see the unique gifts and talents God placed within them.
Looking Ahead
We sincerely hope this recital is not the end of your family's journey with us. We look forward to continuing to grow together through our summer camps and our upcoming Fall/Spring season.
As a special benefit, registration fees for all summer camps and next year's Fall/Spring classes will be waived through June 21st. We encourage you to take advantage of this savings and secure your child's spot as soon as possible.
Thank you for trusting us with your children. It is an honor to teach, encourage, and watch them grow. We cannot wait to celebrate each dancer at Beauty for Ashes on June 20th!
With gratitude and excitement,
The Center of the Arts Team
