Many of you have been wondering what has happened to Imagination Theatre this past year. We have enjoyed providing quality musical and play productions to the Germantown community for the past 10 years! We want to thank all of our patrons, performers and theatre artists who have supported us!
We are now on a different journey. As we strive to bring quality productions to great audiences, we also feel that there are many stories that need to be told and can give a voice to those who may not always be heard. Theatre can change the world. It can alter our views and it can make us ponder and question. We feel that this kind of thoughtful, provocative theatre is what we want to focus on.
Our new mission statement is:
Imagination Theatre raises awareness of social issues and amplifies the voices of marginalized groups through theatre. Our goal is to create an inclusive, community-centric environment that supports local artists, inspires our diverse community, and sheds light on the issues it faces.
