What a night for the history books.

The Germantown Symphony Orchestra celebrated its 50th Anniversary Golden Concert at Germantown Performing Arts Center with an unforgettable evening of music, memories, and celebration.

We honored Maestro Ron Vernon during his final classical series concert as conductor, welcomed back so many former members of the orchestra family, and experienced the world premiere of Ascent by Robert Patterson — commissioned especially for the GSO’s 50th anniversary.

From standing ovations to reunions backstage, GPAC was filled with the sound of celebration and gratitude for five decades of music-making together. Here’s to the next movement.
