I chose the name Pollinators and Posies for a reason. If I don't attract pollinators, I won't have veggies, fruit, birds, and artwork. Since we have a small yard, minimalist, beauty-packed posey design is a must.

I wanted to start working on larger pieces, so I started with this 32"x32" piece. I finished glueing the flowers on Thursday and left it to dry on my table. On Friday, I went to check on it, and I found one of our cats laying on it. As 4 letter words were streaming from my mouth, said cat tried to run, but her feet kept spinning (think Scooby Doo). I wanted to scream.

Shockingly, not a lot of damage was done. I think I salvaged the piece and have framing scheduled. Needless to say, I made an impromptu portfolio out of cardboard to protect the piece. Whoever purchases it will get a copy of my story.

You just gotta roll with it sometimes. 😆
