The Whomp Wagon

The Whomp Wagon Whomp Wagon is a Reno-based art car and collective of rebels, misfits, and celestial pioneers. 9:30/J Jimmy's origins are sketchy. Laser Beams - Bass - Hot Beats

Legend has it that he was the main ride used by the most popular beat boys of the 1800's. Both DJ's, Lewis and Clark have been rumored to travel from settlement to settlement melting settler face aboard the wagon. Historians say the trail ended for Jimmy somewhere in the Nevada desert - where he sat, sans whomp, and covered in a fine dust, until 2009. Salvaged by a group of Serious individuals the Whomp Wagon has been painstakingly restored and updated each year leading up to the ritual return to the Nevada desert. Jimmy's 2013 performance was perhaps the greatest of all, yet, the wagon crew believes that Jimmy's full potential has not quite been realized. Focused on the mission to restore the Whomp Wagon to its former glory the wagon crew pushes on into the future with one simple mantra. Laser beams - Bass - Hot Beats.
