Carpenter Center The Carpenter Center is a local nonprofit organization, in Terry Town around the Scottsbluff/Gering area of Nebraska!

The Carpenter Center is committed to strengthening and empowering children, individuals, families, and communities by providing accessible and affordable education and recreational opportunities with enhanced emphasis on ACTIVITY, WELLNESS, and INCLUSION. We work within the community to provide a multitude of programs to engage all ages in different activities. We offer much more than just programs, we have an on site weight room, a standard size gym, tumbling, indoor sports, after school care and more!

Come check out the Carpenter Center's Book Garden, partnered with Nebraska Growing Readers, Sixpence, and a growing number of orgs around the area!

Our book garden regularly receives books that any family can benefit from! We have and take books from infancy to 3rd grade reading level in English, Spanish, and Navajo!

You are free to take and donate with no checkout or in required, so swing by our front desk to step up your child's reading!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 7 @ 12 PM! It's $10 a person, and members join free. Registration is the day of, so RSVP using the email [email protected] to enjoy some refreshments! No partners needed either!
