Meet Our Artists:
This is Diane White. Originally from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Diane found her way to coastal South Carolina and is excited to now call this special place home.

Images of the beautiful lowcountry area inspire Diane’s landscape paintings; however, she is especially drawn to painting still life by focusing on the way light falls onto ordinary objects.

Choosing simple everyday items such as take out containers with chopsticks and featuring them in a symbolic way or with a humorous twist, she demonstrates her extraordinary ability to bring objects to life while appealing to the viewers’s sense of curiosity.

Diane has been juried into several national juried competitions including Oil Painters of America, Salon International, National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society, and the American Women Artists National Competition. Her work has also been juried into the Associated Artists Annuals at Carnegie Museum of Art, Hoyt Regional, MidAtlantic juried shows, and the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art Biennial.

We invite you to drop by and explore Diane’s paintings as well as all the exquisite work from artists we represent at Georgetown Art Gallery, 705 Front Street in festive downtown Georgetown.

After living and working in Philadelphia for many years, he moved to South Carolina and now resides in Conway where he has easy access to exploring and painting an unlimited supply of lovely picturesque Lowcountry landscapes.
