Mountaindawg Joe played live near our home, on KFOK radio last week. Mountaindawg and our friend, Lenny, were guests on Chan Zilla’s “ The Georgetown Rocks” weekly show. Yesterday Chan posted a video of an original Mountaindawg song, “All Alone”.

Premiere of a NEW song! This is an original called New Alternative, performed by Mountaindawg & the Family Band. Written & Composed by Aaron Thatcher. Arranged by Aaron Thatcher, Johnny Doig, and Mountaindawg Joe Johnson.

The song came together over 2 weekends while our 2 Nephews were practicing with their Uncle Joe. They were practicing to perform at Chris & Tammie’s 35th Wedding Anniversary, for family and close friends, as Mountaindawg.

Our nephews are each talented musicians. They play music with their Uncle when possible, and they grew up listening to their Uncle Joe make music. But kids grow up, and move away, so THIS was a rare family musical collaboration 💝🤩🎶👏🏼

ANNOUNCEMENT: booking some Mountaindawg shows in 2020!
*Mountaindawg Joe has been busy writing & composing for awhile, and is overdue to share some music. He has his first show in April, Solo- details TBA soon.
In the meantime, here he is on 8/15/2019 at Marco’s Cafe in Coloma. It was open mic night, and a few players joined in. Even though they did not know the song, it sounded pretty good!
