“Double double
Toil and trouble
Fire burn and
Cauldron bubble”
In honor of fall and spooky season - One of my most ambitious projects and one that uses the most variety of natural materials from at least four different states.
Bark foundation; painted lichen for fire; twigs for firewood, staves, arms, and legs; burr oak acorn bodies and heads; burr oak acorn cap for cauldron; crepe myrtle bark for clothes; false indigo pods (gathered in Galveston TX) for hands and feet; lichen for hair; yucca pod and grape vine for the ra-ba-cat (rat-nosed, bat-eared, cat-like creature).
