Last January and February we had a family of Spotted Towhees wintering on our property. We mostly saw them hanging out in leaf litter and picking through berries. Very shy creatures. They were the inspiration for these mixed media paintings. (8"x8"" wood panel coated with Venetian plaster, acrylic, collage papers)

2023 wasn't the most productive year in terms of art making due to family loss and some health concerns. Still managed to participate in four art events. ❤️ Here's hoping 2024 is calmer and more fruitful.
