Karl & Karlene - Dream a Little Dream of Me

Did any of you ever watch the Partridge Family when you were young? Its the TV show of a family of musicians who grew up with music in the house and they would always show their great connection with each other through song... Well, the Upcountry Jam has our own version of that show: Karl and Karlene.

Karl Larson has been playing music longer than many of us have been breathing, and he brought his daughter Karlene up with music from the time she was very young. Now, Karl and Karlene are a powerful duo with his excellent guitar work and powerful lyrics and Karlene's unmistakable soulful voice. Veterans of last year's Upcountry Jam, Karl and Karlene will bring their unique blend of sound vibration to the stage.

You can get a preview of their sound here, and while you are at it give a listen to the other videos we've released over the last few weeks of some of the 12 bands you can expect to see on Monday, May 25 at the Memorial Day Upcountry Jam in Georgetown, California.

The Georgetown Boys - Molecules of Love

Few bands can claim their town in their band's name... Boston could do it, so can Alabama Shakes, and certainly Chicago could claim the windy city. Up here on the Divide we have our own band to claim the ground, and they need no introduction, but here's one anyway... Meet the Georgetown Boys!

For over a quarter of a century this 4 piece Jam band has been thrilling the Divide with their unique blend of rock, country funk and rhythm and blues.

Band leader Lamson Dukachutney (aka Lamy Jams) is on vocals and keyboard, and he is joined by Ryan Sudtell on guitar, Shane Doyon on drums and finally Gerald Pohl on Bass rounding out their awesome sound. Check out their video here and be sure to mark your calendars for Monday, May 25th, the date of this year's Upcountry Jam.

The Upcountry Jam will feature the Georgetown Boys and some of the Divide's talented musical acts in an all-day musical festival in the Veteran's Memorial Park in Georgetown. The family friendly show will begin at noon and will proceed throughout the afternoon and into the evening with the Georgetown Boys headlining the ticket. There will be food and drink available, a kid zone, co****le tournament and outstanding merch from the concert.

You can support the artists by going online and ordering the album we have produced Upcountry Sessions, Volume 1. The cd will also be available to purchase on the day of the event, along with t-shirts, posters, & stickers, etc. Just go to our site upcountryjam dot com for more information.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Left of Cool - 'Up on the Georgetown Divide'

Few band can say that they have been playing together for decades, but Left of Cool certainly can! Sheri and Hugh Hoeger have been making music together for over 30 years, and were joined by Tom Gunterman a short 15 years ago. The three of them have been making an eclectic blend of folksy Americans bluegrass ever since!

Left of Cool will be a new band on the Upcountry Jam's stage, and we are thrilled to have them join the show!

Check out this video from their recording session.

The sunset that night was unreal, so we took advantage of it. This song is a tribute to this special little corner of California that we are lucky enough to call home. We hope you'll enjoy.

You can pre- order the album Upcountry Session, Volume 1. on our site upcountryjam dot com.

The album, t-shirts, posters, video download, etc are all available on the site and will be on hand on the day of the event.

Jacob Brewer - Sleight of Hand

If you are someone who wished they could see great bands like Led Zeppelin or the Rolling Stones when they were first starting out and not huge yet, then remember this name: Jacob Brewer. I mean it. Jacob is a rising star here on the Divide, and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to know that he has a long and bright musical journey ahead of him.

Jacob Brewer is a return player to the Upcountry Jam and he has developed his style and lyrics significantly in the last year. He's made a few appearances on KFOK's Night School radio show, and is always that guy who makes folks stop and listen...

You definitely want to come to the Memorial Day Upcountry Jam, on May 25th to see him play live, so you will be able to say "I remember when I saw Jacob Brewer play at the Upcountry Jam in Georgetown, California way back in 2026... Look at him now..."

Looking forward to seeing you at the big show. We'll have lots of great things available to make your day more enjoyable... Food, drink, kids zone, co****le, music galore!

The Upcountry Jam will showcase some of the Divide's best and most talented musicians. But, did you know that they are also just great, smart and fun people to be around? Take, for example, David Verdugo, founding member of the band Hard Times No More ... Did you know that in addition to tearing up the stage with his amazing guitar and original tunes, David Verdugo is also responsible for the remarkable sound quality that you will hear at the show! That's right, he is the sound engineer on the day of the show, but in addition, David is the sound producer for the album and, as if that wasn't enough, he is also the videographer (except here)! That's just amazing.

Come to the Upcountry Jam on Monday, May 25th at the Veteran's Memorial Park in Georgetown, Ca. Its going to be an awesome fun-filled day of music, corn hole, food, vendors, kids zone, and so much more!

Treat yourself to the front row when David Verdugo is joined on stage by Tom Gunterman, and Aed DeBoer for an unforgettable & rockin sound!
