Wedding bells are about to ring once more in the Fowler family!

Later this week, Brandon Fowler will wed beloved BFSD dance family member Sierra Sietsema!

As we get ready to celebrate the soon-to-be newlyweds, we are also celebrating the 7th wedding anniversary of Beth and Bob's oldest son, Brad, and his wife, Alex!

So today, in honor of both the special anniversary and the upcoming nuptials, we are throwing it back to the amazing day at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, when Brad proposed to Alex, with a bit of help from Beth Fowler Dance Company dancers who performed in a special choreographed wedding proposal "flash mob!"

Enjoy the video!

And congrats, to both Brad and Alex and Brandon and Sierra! Best wishes for many more years to come!

Thank you to St. Charles Norton Creek Elementary for letting us celebrate Back to School with you!

On Friday, Aug. 14, BFSD was privileged to take part in Popsicles in the Park to help welcome students back for the 2026-27 school year.

At our table, some of our beautiful Company dancers, dressed in dazzling Fowler Dance Company tutus, invited students and other young visitors to take pictures with them and spin a wheel! Then the kids would perform the dance move that the arrow pointed to. Each young visitor received a sweet treat!

We had so much fun!

And everyone received an invitation to join us this fall for our new BFSD school year, beginning Aug. 31!

You can, too! Come and dance with us this fall! St. Charles and Genoa!

We finished with a flourish! 💪🎉💃

Last Friday, our St Charles studio dancers got their turn in the spotlight, taking the final bow of the BFSD Summer Dance Camps! 🩰✨

In what is our End of Summer tradition, the dancers all got to dress up in amazing provided costumes, and show off all they learned this summer as they put on a special show just for family and friends during our special end-of-camp recitals!

Enjoy this look back at our St. Charles camp dancers and ensembles!

Thanks to all the dancers, families, teachers, staff, and everyone who dedicated time, effort and energy to make our summer dance camps so special yet again!

It's one of our favorite new bittersweet traditions!

Last weekend, we again gathered at our home-away-from-home, the Egyptian Theatre, for our annual Senior Farewell Party!

This summer, BFSD bid farewell to five special ladies, our Class of '26 graduating seniors, Angelena Vergara, Elianna Oleksyn, Reegan DeBarba, Chaela Bilyk, and Kaitlyn Doyle.

Since we had the theater all to ourselves, the evening featured a Pajama Movie Night Theme, as our seniors and guests watched the videos of our live shows from our 2025-26 season, including "The Nutcracker," "Annie & Paquita," and "VMA Legends!'

As the dancers cuddled up in the theater seats with blankets, they enjoyed reflecting on the performances of the season, watching themselves dance in larger-than-life splendor on the Egyptian's huge movie screen!

And amid the showings, we got to enjoy dinner together in the theater's beautiful front lobby!

We want to say thank you to the Egyptian Theatre for their warm hospitality, as always!

It was an amazing evening, as ever!

We wish nothing but good fortune to these five, who have produced so many magical memories for all of us here at BFSD for so many years! We look forward to your visits to the studio and performances, and can't wait to see all of the amazing things the future holds for each of you!

Summer may be drawing to a close.... But the fun is only getting started! 🌞 ‍🩰

This summer, our crews of young dancers again joined in the fun at our 2026 Summer Dance Camps!

For a final bow, our dancers at both the Genoa and St. Charles locations perform every year before large audiences of family and friends at the End of Summer Camp Showcase!

Last Friday, our Genoa students took their turn in the limelight!

And *this* Friday, our St. Charles students will have their chance to show off all they've learned!

Today, enjoy this peek into the Genoa Showcase!

Dancers from all camp levels performed several different dance routines in different dance styles, but all stylish with provided costumes! The evening was topped off with refreshments and dance family visiting as we celebrated a great summer!

Watch for photos from our St Charles showcase coming soon!

This year, our dancers once again ATE!
So we PARTIED! 🥳🎉

Last Sunday, much of the BFSD Family gathered to put a bow on the monumentally successful 2026 dance competition season at our annual Family Fun Red Carpet Awards Banquet!

Throughout the 2026 Competition Season, our dancers showed out on stage, bringing home more shiny hardware and even more amazing memories!

So we set aside an evening, filled with fun, laughter, and food, to recognize the dancers, choreographers, and the dance moms and dads, who always give their best, year after year!

Enjoy some of the sights seen from a very special evening! ✨ 🤩
