Geneva Tango Geneva Tango in Geneva NY is an Argentine Tango Community offering tango lessons most Fridays.

We are a warm inclusive community, united in the love of Argentine tango, and welcome all levels, from beginners to experienced. We are a community of all ages, backgrounds, walks of life, and dancing abilities, with the sole purpose to enjoy ARGENTINE TANGO. Our CLASSES are taught by experienced tango instructors, beginning with a class for absolute beginners at 7:00PM followed with a class for I

ntermediate/Advanced dancers at 8:15. We also have practicas to practice the moves we just learned in previous weeks. And once a month, we have a MILONGA(a social dance), from 8:00 PM to midnight. All our activities take place in the amazing dance studio of the the Smith Opera House, with a beautiful view of downtown Geneva and Seneca lake in the the background. Ample parking across the street, and many venues for food, drinks and live music within a few steps of the studio.

The weather gifted us with a not too cold, not too windy, dry evening, and brave dancers came to our WINTER WHITE MILONGA, all the way from Utica, Buffalo, Ithaca, Syracuse, Rochester. What a night! The vibrant music chosen by our DJ Aydin energized our dancers for the entire four hours of the milonga.

A reminder: Our Winter White milage is THIS Friday, from 8:00 pm to midnight, at our usual location, the dance studio of the Smith Center for the Arts. Our DJ is Aydin and, thanks to the generosity of the Smith, the cost is only $10.00 ($5.00 for students with ID).
If you are so inclined, please wear festive winter white, or not, but do come and join the dance.
