DIRT CHALLENGE IS IN THE BOOKS!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported Accel RC for the Dirt Challenge, especially with the rain threat hanging over us all day. We weren't sure what Mother Nature had in store, but thankfully it turned out to be a pretty nice day!
Toward the end of the day, we thought we were about to get hit with a pretty nasty pop-up storm shortly after we started the mains. As it turned out, that storm fizzled out and we only ended up getting about 15–20 minutes of a light rain — not even enough to get the track wet! Sometimes you just have to roll the dice with the weather.

It’s definitely a little sad seeing our race season come to an end. It’s been a tough year for racing. The weather has been brutal, and trying to reschedule races has made things even more difficult.

We still have ONE race remaining on the schedule — the AROC Series Finale! 🏆
Hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate with us this time and we can get this one in without all the weather drama.
Thank you again to everyone who has supported Accel RC throughout this tough season. Racers, families, spectators, volunteers, and everyone who has helped make these race days happen — we appreciate every one of you!

Due to the ever changing weather forecast for tomorrow, we are bumping up the start time to 10am. The goal is to hopefully get the race in before any afternoon/evening showers hit.

Also forgot to mention that the trailer/camper entry for the track is closed. The rain from monday completely flooded it and it still has standing water in spots. I dont won't anyone to get stuck up trying to come in that way

We’ve got the track in pretty decent shape and we’re getting closer! 💪🔥 As long as Mother Nature cooperates and we don’t get any more rain, we should be good to go for Saturday!

We still have some work to finish up tomorrow evening, so practice is CANCELLED for Friday.

The forecast is currently looking favorable, so we’re feeling pretty good about having a great race day Saturday! 🙌

Dirt Challenge Race Update

Mother Nature has definitely been putting our track to the test lately. With all the ridiculous storms we’ve been getting, the track isn’t fairing out very well right now.

We’re going to do everything we can to get the track raceable by this Saturday. Unfortunately, water is still leaching out of the ground in a few areas, and the sun just hasn’t wanted to cooperate and dry things up.

With more rain expected Thursday, we’re going to have to wait and see how much we get and whether the track dries out enough for us to make the necessary repairs.

We know everyone is anxious to get out there and race, and we are too! We’ll continue doing everything we can on our end.

Keep checking back on Facebook over the next few days for updates. We’ll keep everyone posted as we know more.

With Accel RC’s race being canceled tomorrow, we’ve decided to take advantage of the open Saturday and GO RACING at Tri-Cities! 🔥

Sorry guys. We had 3 rounds of some pretty heavy rain. Suns been out for several hours but there are spots that you can't walk on. We are rescheduling to next Saturday. Hopefully it will be better.
