for the Thanksgiving Craft Show❤️

Usually a full show with returning vendors. However, with 87 booths, sometimes cancelations due to unforseen circumstances happen. So there are now 3 spots up for grabs.

Dolly Parton is proof that creativity rooted in home can still reach the whole world. Growing up right here in the Smokies, surrounded by the same handmade traditions this community keeps alive, she turned her roots into art without ever losing them. This past Friday I discovered an amazing shop on the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community loop called Ownby's Woodcrafts (704 Glades Rd). In addition to cutting boards, chairs, stools, birdhouses, bears, toys, all made from native wood, I found amazing crafts and antiques. Since the late 1800's, the Ownby family has carried on a unique artisan tradition. Free parking and a fun day in Gatlinburg!
