The theater opened in Gatlinburg in 1977 and since that time has been recognized as one of the most innovative and unusual professional theater companies in the country. Recently, Sweet F***y Adams Theatre was proclaimed a National Historical Treasure by the city of Gatlinburg. Over 30 original musical comedies have had their World Premieres at the Theatre, with many of these productions going on to play in cities throughout the country, such as Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

Today is a sad day...our friend Gordon Dahms past away this morning...he was a friend and a member of the family that spent Christmas and thanksgivings with us ..we have known him for well over 40 years...he was our graphic designer for sweet F***y Adams theatre making the brochures,set peaces, back drops. And truly helped to make our theatre a magical place. He was incredibly talented and a wonderful human being...and will be missed greatly.... memorial information will come soon.

It was sad to see the theater that I have called "home" for so many years empty. We decided to have one final "toast" and say goodbye, one final time upon the boards. Thank you to everyone who made this such a unique and special place. The friendships, the laughter, and the memories will live forever in my mind. Sing along with us....
