The 💙Gate City Theater💙 project has so much happening behind the scenes, and we are beyond excited to bring forward a reimagined and reignited vision for both the rich history of this space and the bright future ahead.

We’re excited to say that Gate City Frontier, Inc. is hosting the Cotton Roberts Classic: All Vehicle Show in honor of Cotton, who had a true passion for classic cars and local cruise-ins.

This event is a tribute to his love for community, nostalgia, and everything on wheels. We can’t wait to celebrate his legacy with all of you in downtown Gate City and raise money for the Gate City Theater!!💙💙💙

We’re thrilled to welcome you to the digital home of the historic Gate City Theater! Originally opened in 1947, this beloved landmark holds a special place in the heart of our community.

Thanks to the dedication of Gate City Frontier, and with the support of grants, private donors, and passionate community members, we are actively working to revitalize and restore the theater to its former glory. Our goal is to transform it into a vibrant hub for arts, culture, and community gatherings.

This project also serves as a heartfelt tribute to our late chairman, Allan “Cotton” Roberts, whose vision and love for Gate City continue to inspire us every step of the way.

Stay tuned for updates, events, volunteer opportunities, and ways you can be part of bringing this beautiful space back to life. We can’t wait to share the journey with you!
