Registration is underway for the 2026 SCRD Youth Volleyball League. Youth Volleyball is available to boys and girls in grades 2-7. Grades 2-4 will constitute a league and grades 5-7 will constitute a league. Costs are: $30 per player and $50 per family. Add $5 for non-county child and $10 for non-county family. Deadline to register is August 28th.

The season will start with practices beginning after Sept. 7th. Games are slated to start Sept. 26th and end on Oct. 31st.

Thank you to everyone that participated in our Summer Tennis and Junior Golf this summer. We had a great year, a great turnout, and survived some major heat.

Thank you as well to all of the instructors and helpers for both programs. As the sole employee of the Recreation Department, there is absolutely no way I could put on these programs without the expertise and assistance of these dependable young adults.

Check back here soon for information and registration for our SCRD Youth Volleyball League, set to start practicing around Labor Day. I should have info up around the first of August.

Reminder, we will have a final Summer Tennis Clinic on Tuesday, July 14th. Our final Junior Golf will be on Wednesday, July 15th.
