🎭🐰 We’re going down the rabbit hole this October! 🐰🎭

GSOA Children’s Playhouse is excited to present Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR.
October 15–25! ❤️♠️🎩

Along with our regular performances, we’ve planned several special performances and experiences so even more families in our community can enjoy the magic of live theatre!

✨ OPENING NIGHT
Thursday, October 15
Be among the first to journey into Wonderland and celebrate opening night with our cast!

💙 SENSORY-FRIENDLY PERFORMANCE Saturday, October 17
A welcoming presentation designed to make live theatre more accessible. This performance will feature limited special effects and illuminated house lights to provide a more comfortable and supportive environment for audience members with sensory sensitivities.

👑 KIDS’ COSTUME PARADE
Sunday, October 18 & Saturday, October 24
Calling all Alices, Mad Hatters, Queens, rabbits, and other favorite characters! Children are encouraged to come in costume and join our Kids’ Costume Parade before the show! 🎩🐇❤️

🤝 COMMUNITY-SUPPORTED PERFORMANCE
Friday, October 23
We want live theatre to be accessible to everyone in our community. For this special performance, pay what you can with a $1 minimum per ticket.

🎨🎭🎶 The arts teach so much more than art, theatre, and music. They help prepare young people for life.

Think about the confidence it takes to walk onto a stage, perform a piece of music in front of an audience, present your artwork, or step into a character in front of a crowd.

That same confidence can follow a student into a college or scholarship interview, a job interview, a classroom presentation, and eventually a career.

And then there are the skills developed behind the scenes- consistent practice, hard work, discipline, perseverance, creativity, teamwork, and learning how to keep going when something is difficult.

These are life skills. ❤️

The Fall 2026 semester is underway at Gaston School of the Arts, and while several of our art classes have filled, we still have limited space available in select classes for children, youth, and adults.

Whether you’re picking up a pencil or paintbrush for the first time, trying your hand at pottery, or looking to strengthen skills you’ve been developing for years, GSOA is a place to learn, create, explore, and grow.
