🎨🎶🎭 GSOA was out in full force last night at the Gaston Arts Council’s Arts Gaston Showcase in Mount Holly! 🎭🎶🎨

What an incredible evening celebrating the arts in our community!

Visitors had the opportunity to view beautiful artwork created by our talented adult art students, learn about the many programs offered through Gaston School of the Arts, and enjoy a special performance by members of our Children’s Playhouse highlighting scenes and songs from some of our recent productions.

From visual arts to music and theatre, it was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the creativity, talent, and passion that make GSOA such a special place.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, supported the arts, and helped make the evening a success! 💛

It’s our Shrek camp crew and interns, striking their best “professional theatre educator” poses before a day of organized chaos, creative problem-solving, spontaneous dance parties, and helping students bring Shrek The Musical Kids to life. 💚🎭

While they may look like they’re modeling matching camp shirts, they’re actually hard at work teaching songs, rehearsing scenes, encouraging young performers, and creating a little theatre magic along the way.

The countdown to showtime is on, and this crew is ready for it! 🧅🐴👑🐉

It’s amazing to watch these young performers grow in confidence, creativity, and teamwork as they prepare for next week’s performances. From first rehearsals to opening night, every student plays an important role in creating something special. ✨

🎨✨ What a fantastic Week 3 at GSOA Summer Art Camps! ✨🎨

Our students wrapped up an incredible week of creativity in Pop Art and Pottery Camp, and we couldn’t be more proud of what they accomplished!

From bold, colorful pop art creations to unique pottery pieces crafted by hand, students spent the week exploring new techniques, expressing their creativity, and bringing their artistic ideas to life. Most importantly, they had fun, made new friends, and gained confidence in their artistic abilities.
