is the non-profit governing body for The School of Gaston Dance Theatre and The Theatre of Gaston Dance. It is a regional dance company which was founded to serve a cultural need in the community by creating and/or presenting a repertoire of classical and contemporary dance works. Our studios are housed at Unity Place – home of St. Stephen’s AME Zion Church. Gaston Dance offers air-conditioned stu

dios with suspended wooden floors, barres, mirrors and viewing windows for class observation. There are no costume nor competition fees. Gaston Dance offers a professional curriculum for ballet, jazz, tap and modern. Classes are offered to children beginning at three years of age and to adults.

Autumn Gala is Gaston Dance Theatre’s annual fundraising production led by our talented Studio Company dancers. This inspiring evening brings together performances from local and regional dance companies, showcasing a vibrant mix of styles and artistry.

Autumn Gala is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts. This is an evening to dress up, enjoy an evening of the arts, and donate to Gaston Dance Theatre (the only non-profit dance studio in Gaston County). We had an incredible Summer with our dance family! From A.S.P.I.R.E and making new friends, to welcoming home students who trained and developed with us in the studio, Gaston Dance Theatre experienced a summer of growth and excellence! We held Workshops, Master Classes, Preschool Summer Camp, and offered a wide variety of weekly classes to serve the community.
