The Johan Newcombe Event Center opened in August of 2016 and is located at 1840 E Franklin Blvd in Gastonia, NC. The event center is part of Habitat for Humanity of Gaston County and supports Habitat's mission to provide strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter for low-income families in Gaston County. and will hold up to 340 people for a seated event and 500 for a standing event wi
th high top tables. Tables and chairs are included in the rental fee. Other amenities available for additional fees include a state-of-the-art sound and audio/visual system, elevated stage, and dance floor. It is a perfect location for a corporate training meeting, company holiday gathering, retirement party, wedding, anniversary, or reception, trade show exhibits, awards ceremony, holiday vendor shows, graduation, reunion celebration, or whatever event you may have in mind. The Johan Newcombe Event Center is adjacent to the Habitat for Humanity of Gaston County ReStore and has ample parking for large events with a covered entrance to pull under to drop off guests during inclement weather or great if you would like to hire a valet parking vendor.
