I got my 3 events registered for this year's GENCON. As usual, I run the Endless Terrors RPG on Thursday morning and afternoon, and Friday morning and afternoon. Then on Saturday, I'll once again be running Circus Imperium. Here are the 2 RPG scenarios:

Johnny Hates Jazz : A new developer, Bayou Phoenix, has bought the remains of Six Flags Jazzland in New Orleans and have begun tearing down some of the 65 structures. Unfortunately, strange accidents have been plaguing the demolition, from simple equipment failure to catastrophic building collapses. Many blame the ghosts of those that drowned when Hurricane Katrina struck back in 2005. Others believe that the land itself is cursed. McCall International is sending your team in to find out what is happening before these hazards become fatalities.

Sam I Am : The city of Kirtland, Ohio just had one of the worst Halloween nights in its history. 4 people were savagely murdered, in different parts of the town, and by different methods. This place was the site of several paranormal sightings several years ago, but there were never any attacks, let alone homicides. Are the two incidents connected in some way, or has something new come into the area to spread death and mayhem, especially on a night known for its chaos. McCall International is sending your team in to try to solve these bizarre cases before anyone else dies.

Okay...the line-up is set : the A-chariot driven by B.S. Marcus, the Ecto-chariot driven by Spengler Raymond, the Rebel chariot driven by Fluke Starbucker, the Jurassic chariot driven by Grant Malcom, the Imperial chariot driven by Dirk Nader, and the Mystery chariot driven by Shabby Drool ! May the best, or luckiest, chariot be victorious!!

Another fun and successful weekend at Whosyercon ! I got to meet some new friends whom I played more than one game with, and got to see some old friends that I usually only get to see at conventions. As usual, those who played IN my games came up with unusual, and unexpected, solutions to the investigations they faced. But that's what makes it more fun, right? Oh yeah !! Here are some photos from "Beware the...WTH is this thing?", "Foreteller of Doom," "Be Careful What You Wish For," and "The Haunted Sands." Okay....2 pieces of news. One, all 4 of my Events for Whosyercon have been approved, so I truly hope all slots will be filled. 2 of them are brand-new and 2 are older scenarios that I have previously run.

Two, I have submitted my events for GENCON 2025. I got my vacation approved so now I can actually attend. Here are the events I will be running:
Circus Imperium: One way or another I will be running this fun and exciting hover-chariot race. I'm hoping to get the track 3-D printed to give it that realism.
Mazes and Monsters: An old contact of Carl Kolchak has asked him to return to Chicago to look into a string of missing homeless people. Father O'Malley says that his 'flock' are not the type to just up and leave, so he is quite concerned. The Police aren't taking the matter seriously, especially when rumors of a horned monster lurking about start to surface.
Who's the Dummy? : The Vent Haven Museum in Ft. Mitchell, KY has filed a claim with McCall International Insurance about a vandalism that had occurred the previous night. Strangely, all the doors and windows were still secured and the alarm was never set off, though the motion sensors were detecting SOME kind of movement. So what caused all the damage? A ghost? Magic? Psychic powers?

Hi Everyone ! First off, Happy Thanksgiving! Please celebrate everything that is good in your life and do NOT focus on the negative things. For myself, there has been a lot that happened this year, some good some bad. That's called life...

Now, I have already registered my 4 games for Whosyercon. 2 of them are brand-new and 2 are scenarios I have previously run and are personal favorites of mine. The new ones are Foreteller of Doom and Beware the...WTH is this thing? I ran them at GENCON last year. The older ones are Be Careful What You Wish For and The Haunted Sands. If you'd like to know more about these scenarios, just drop me a line!

Next... I was hoping to make a big announcement for next year's GENCON. Now that announcement is on the fence due to an unexpected incident. On the plus side, since GENCON is now unable to accommodate my Endless Terrors miniatures game (figures...I finally finished the rulebook and now can't run it!) Gene has helped me design a stadium in order for me to run Circus Imperium. If you don't know what that is, it's a chariot race where hoverchariots are pulled by 2 enormous beasts. I will try to find a picture of a game that was run at PENTACON years ago. I am just waiting on 3D printing the stadium

Whew! The first session of Foreteller of Doom was epic! I had to change a lot of the story because picked Ryan Dallion, from Friday the 13th the series (for the first time). He 'should've' had inside knowledge of what was going on so I had to five a bit. But the final confrontation was really cool, thanks to Anita Blake using her skills to exorcise the witch's ghost!

Well, apparently GENCON will not have room for my miniatures game anytime in the near future, so they cancelled my events. I will STILL bring copies of the Game booklet to show around and try to spark some interest. I intend to talk to the organizers of WHOSYERCON and see if there might be room there come next year. Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that "A Gaggle of Galloping...." will NOT be run this year.... which is sad, because as you may have guessed, it's Scooby-Doo themed. :-(

Session 1 of "Space Oddity." Yes, based on the David Bowie song and the "remake" by Peter Schilling. The characters found out that sometimes you CAN go home...and freeze your wife...and some Russian soldiers, CIA flunkies, etc.
