Day 3 : Circus Imperium. Wow....what a weird race! Not a whole lot of chariot-slamming (boo hoo..) but many unexpected incidents. Let's see : Shabby Drool, was thrown out of the Mystery Chariot, and when another chariot slammed into it...it was pushed back over him and squashed him!
I was running the Jurassic Chariot : my beasts died, I tried jumping into someone else's, MISSED (big surprise, right, Gene Cramer?), was dragged behind said chariot, and basically torn in half.
The A-chariot's beasts also died, but B.S. Maracus WAS able to commander another chariot....but was too late to win.
The winner was the Imperial chariot...by 2 spaces. The Rebel chariot came up from behind but got stuck "in traffic" around one of the curves. So close....but not close enough! LOL
Thanks again to Phil Shepherd was helping me confirm some rules (and who won, by the way). I'm proud to say that a lot of people have congratulated me on such a cool presentation. Thank you everyone that has helped me with this!

Okay...Day 1 and 2 of GENCON: full tables for all 4 sessions (2 of them had 8 players), had someone play Cordelia Chase in 2 sessions (no one had played her before) and met a lot of new friends, hopefully new permanent players.

Day 1 was Johnny Hates Jazz where the PCs had to investigate the remains of Six Flags Jazzland before it was completely demolished (as of May 15th, it was...so I had to retcon the game)

Day 2 was Sam I Am...NOT the Dr. Suess character by a long shot. Both groups found different ways to solve the...issue.

I got my 3 events registered for this year's GENCON. As usual, I run the Endless Terrors RPG on Thursday morning and afternoon, and Friday morning and afternoon. Then on Saturday, I'll once again be running Circus Imperium. Here are the 2 RPG scenarios:

Johnny Hates Jazz : A new developer, Bayou Phoenix, has bought the remains of Six Flags Jazzland in New Orleans and have begun tearing down some of the 65 structures. Unfortunately, strange accidents have been plaguing the demolition, from simple equipment failure to catastrophic building collapses. Many blame the ghosts of those that drowned when Hurricane Katrina struck back in 2005. Others believe that the land itself is cursed. McCall International is sending your team in to find out what is happening before these hazards become fatalities.

Sam I Am : The city of Kirtland, Ohio just had one of the worst Halloween nights in its history. 4 people were savagely murdered, in different parts of the town, and by different methods. This place was the site of several paranormal sightings several years ago, but there were never any attacks, let alone homicides. Are the two incidents connected in some way, or has something new come into the area to spread death and mayhem, especially on a night known for its chaos. McCall International is sending your team in to try to solve these bizarre cases before anyone else dies.
