If you’ve been keeping up with my Insta then you’d know that I visited Waldameer Park for the first time this last weekend. It was almost a 6-hour drive from my house, but we sandwiched it between Cedar Point two days to make it a little more reasonable. Unbeknownst to me, we ended up there opening day for the season, and ended up on the second train of the year for Ravine Flyer II....

Even on a gloomy day Waldameer is still beautiful. I just wish I could’ve gotten more photos.

A Eulogy for the Dearly Departed Wicked Twister: Everyone here knows that Wicked Twister was a good coaster. In any other park maybe one of the best, but at Cedar Point, just there. But it’s presence will be missed. When you walked in that section of the park there wasn’t much going on, but you could always count on Wicked Twister (unless there were any weather problems, or God forbid high winds) to be screeching by adding kinetic energy to the area....
