Veterans Memorial Recreation Center A premier recreation center located in Garner, Iowa.... Our goal is to help you achieve yours! The VMRC was opened in November 2009.

The facility is a premier 23,000 square foot recreation facility featuring a large gymnasium, elevated walking/running track, multi-purpose activity room, fitness/weights area, locker rooms, veterans’ area, retractable batting cage, outpatient rehab clinic and offices. Through the VMRC, the Garner Park and Recreation Department offers a variety of Group Fitness Classes, Youth and Adult Sports and Programs, Personal Training, and a variety of Special Events and Rentals.

Couple quick reminders surrounding VMRC gym usage this week:
Stromer Basketball Camp occurs from 9-11a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday this week.
Colorguard Camp occurs 12:00-1:00p every day this week. Gym usage will be limited each day and completely closed during these times. Thank you!
