Step 3 in the creative process is to paint the interior of the shells a bright white so that any design applications will have an evenly colored prep surface.

Step 2 in the shell beautification process is a stinky at one too. We wash and bleach each shell for two days to make sure any bacteria or organisms are dead.

Step 1 in the creation process is not very glamorous. Digging through piles of discarded oyster shells is how it begins. Looking for just the right shapes and sizes for ring dishes and ornaments is a little bit of a treasure hunt. 💍🦪🎁
