Costume help:
We are looking for seamstresses or other great costume finders that can help with Little Mermaid Jr. Costumes. We have some costumes from another theater, but we may have to build some depending on sizes. My guess is that we will need 10-15 costumes made.

Supervision of Gate and Concession Money:
Show dates are set for three of the shows this year and we need adults to help with concessions and gate money as well as back stage supervision. Two to three adults each night would be preferable. They would need to come around 6:15 and the show starts at 7. Talk with your parents, neighbors and friends.

Collection of furniture for the show CLUE:
We have nine rooms in the play CLUE. They don't need to be fully furnished, but we do need specific items to make the set suggest the room. It takes place in an older mansion so everything looks old, but nice almost fancy. Furniture we need includes: book shelves, sofas, dining table and chairs, arm chairs, fake plants, billiard table or pool cues, rugs, tables, lamps, a chandelier, a desk, end tables and general mansion set dressing. If you know of anyone willing to lend us an item for the show, we would love to take good care of the item and use them in the show.

Collection of excess craft supplies:
If anyone has any craft supplies that are just hanging about the house not being used. BRHS drama would love to have your excess craft supplies, especially paints, crate paper, glue and tape.

Advertising
We need more word of mouth promotions for each show along with folks to put out flyers and share the show on social media.
Because of a miscommunication, Box Elder High will be doing Little Mermaid and Bear River Middle will be doing Little Mermaid jr. version. We need to make sure there is no confusion between the two events.

We are haunting the corn maze this year! This is a fundraiser for our Drama program. We need 10 people every Friday and Saturday Night from 7pm till 11pm Sept 30-Oct 30. It is a blast to use your acting skills to give folks in the maze a good scare. If you are interested, please let me know ASAP. You need to be 16 or close to 16 years or older to participate.

CLUE= October 26,27,28,29 (HS students)
Little Mermaid Jr.=November 17, 18, 19, 21(MS students)
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers=February 23, 24, 25,27(HS students)

There may be one more at each school, but they are not solidly confirmed yet.

Welcome Back to the 2016-2017 school year! This year our first high school show is CLUE. Auditions are September 6-7 after school in the auditorium. You will need a one minute comedic monologue. Roles in the show include: Mr. Green, Professor Plum, Colonel Mustard, Wadsworth the Butler, Mr. Body, Mrs. White, Miss Scarlet, Mrs. Peacock, Yevette the maid, the cook, a police man, a motorist, a singing telegram girl, and an FBI man.

Everybody, Lil Abner takes place this week! Nov 5-7 at 7:30 with a matinee on Saturday at 1. Its $7 for adults and $5 for students with ID and children. There is also a 25.00 family deal. Spread the word!

Lil' Abner audition detail:
High School and Middle School students need to prepare a 2 minute music number from a broadway show or disney show.

High School and Middle Schoolers will be auditioned on 8th and call backs will be on the 9th. We will audition in the auditorium. If there are some who can't audition on these days but still want to audition see Mrs Nichols for arrangements.

Elementary age children need to come with a parent to a meeting Tuesday night, Sep. 8th in the auditorium at 6:30pm. There will be a general information given on production needs.
