This year has been really bad on us. Construction, and everything was going great, We were almost at the finish line on everything we had wanted to accomplish as far as being able to open this season, and then in April is where things started going south for us! First, my dad was in the hospital for about 6 weeks and he passed away the beginning of May. Then, on May 10th, only 4 days after my dad's funeral, Jeffrey got into a car accident and injured his back. So he was having to go to Clinton, everyday, and to Wilmington 1 day a week to Dr's appointments. Then when he was finally released to go back to work at the beginning of July, his dad (TL) went into the hospital and was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. So we were going to the hospital in Fayetteville everyday after work to visit with him and on July 30th, only 3 weeks and 3 days after being diagnosed, he too, passed away. So it's been a real tough few months for us, so we have decided 2025 is going to be our reopen year! We could open this year if we really wanted to (that's literally how close were were to the finish line) but there's still some minor things we wanted to get finished with first. The power being the most important thing. We decided after the 1st year we would not open again until we had full power out there because the generators we used the 1st year were nothing but 1 big headache. So, anyway with all this being said, we will, without a doubt be opening up next year, and we hope to see all of you here! We want to thank everybody for your patience, and we promise you won't be disappointed! We have a few new scenes as well as a few more surprises coming for Sept 2025! Stay tuned!!!
And stay twisted!!
