We try to save as much walk-in glaze waste as we can. When cleaning off people’s palettes we wipe off the excess into these silicone cupcake liners. Once a week we crunch them up into glaze bits and store them in containers. These are used mostly by our members but they are available for walk-ins to use as well! Would you like to see a video of how we use our recycled glaze bits?

Next week we start our Kids & Teen Art Club Clay Haunted House Project! On week one we will roll out all of our slabs, cut out all of our pieces using a template and add texture! We will then learn how to wrap up our projects well enough to keep them workable for the following week! I will be contacting the first round of scholarship recipients will be contacted tomorrow.
