To all of our friendz and fanz,
It's taken me 11 months to have the heart to write this out to you, so here it goes...
I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that our 2024 season last year was our Final Nightmare at Toynbee's House of Horrors. The restraints have been put back on the Krue and our doors are officially closed.
This was an extremely difficult decision for us to make, but after ongoing battles yearly with the county and certain neighbors of ours we decided that our time has come to hang up our masks and weapons and walk away with our gruesome heads held high. Because of you, our haunt grew bigger and more popular than we could ever dream of. We never thought we would have such a dedicated and passionate following of friendz and fanz as we've had. So many nights we were in awe of YOU with the singing, dancing, and party we had with you at the HOH.
We truly appreciate the love, support, and friendships you've given us during our 10 year run in Gardner (and the 8 years as a garage haunt in Olathe). We built this haunt from the ground up - just 4 people with a common love of horror, theatrics, design, and building. With the love and dedication of an AMAZING group of freakz, weirdoz, misfitz, actorz and support-staff, we grew to become the multi-award winning haunted attraction that you've grown to love...and somewhat hate hahaha.
We will truly miss the thousands of high-fives and fist-bumps in the parades, and the fear in your eyes during your visits to the HOH each season. The Khaos Krue will hold the sound of your laughter, screams, and cries close to our twisted hearts and will echo thru our minds and memories forever.
From the bottom of my klown-heart and on behalf of the entire Khaos Krue, Thank You for allowing us to terrorize you year-after-year. We will miss you more than you know, but we'll always be there in your nightmares.
Thank you for being our friendz.
Jeremy "Skitzo" Toynbee
