This week is a busy one for the Town of Hyde Park. On Wednesday July 1st Hyde Park Recreation and the NYS Parks Service are hosting a special double header concert at Mills Mansion in celebration of 250 years of Independence. The first band, That Guy Larry, has an exciting line up of music prepared for us beginning at 5pm. 4 Guys in Disguise will then close out the night with a second concert beginning at 7pm. Scottie’s Good Food truck will be there serving up some awesome bites for purchase. To finish off the night make sure to stop by Chilly Willy's Ice cream truck for a tasty treat!
Saturday, July 4th is the annual Independence Day parade where we will not only honor 250 years of freedom but also our Grand Marshal, Micheal Athanas, Hyde Park American Legion Post 1303 Commander. Parade Kick off is 10am! Make sure to arrive early to secure a spot on the route to see all the amazing floats community members have created. We hope to see everyone showing off their patriotism with American flags and plenty of smiles.
