Opposites attract, but like minded last🌗💙🧡

I created this look using a face chart. I loved the contrast and the feel of day and night.
It’s been really fun to challenge myself with makeup creations and put my own personal twist on a look that’s already been created. Makeup art is the most fun I’ve had during Covid, along with photoshoots. Covid has been tough on so many of us and still is, but everything happens for a reason. I honestly don’t think I would be exploring my skills to the degree I am it Covid had never hit. I’m SO incredibly grateful for it💙

If you’ve been following my Instagram, you’ve probably seen my Polar Seltzer transformations.
When I came across the Pixie Lights drink it took me awhile to figure out how I wanted to transform. I thought about dressing exactly like the pixie character on the can wearing a white wig, black goggles, black scarf and flying around on a lightbulb💡
Instead, I kept envisioning my younger years of chasing fireflies during the summer nights. Then I remembered one of my favorite songs by Owl City called Fireflies.
I’ve always been fascinated by glowing creatures. And I always loved that magical feeling of exploring the forest at night surrounded by glowing bugs.
So here’s my interpretation of Pixie Lights with the help of Owl City. I hope you enjoy it!
And today.. I hope you can truly understand that nothing is ever as it seems...
You’re not stuck... you’re in transition❤️

I had waaay too much fun creating these peep characters. Peeps always remind me of being a kid. I’d put a peep on a plate, heat it in the microwave and then stick it the freezer for 30 seconds. Lol, don’t ask. It gave it the perfect crunch and made it chewy! 🤣 I hope everyone has a Happy Easter!!
