So sad to hear about James Earl Jones death. He was such a terrific actor and he had a smile that made people watching him immediately smile back.
I've been a fan of his since I was a little kid. He did the greatest voice over ever!!! Who hasn't done the Vader breathing sound themselves?
He was one of the first people I wrote way back in the 90s when my autograph collecting went crazy and I started sending out tons of letters each month.
The below photo is the very first response I got back. I was thrilled when I got it. It was one of the first big actor responses I had gotten. I also have a whole bunch of signed index cards I've gotten over the years.
I just rewatched Field Of Dreams a few weeks ago. Such a great movie.
So long Mr Jones, thanks for the memories

Have you guys in the Elvis world noticed how many Elvis fans HATE ETAs?
When I post videos on my profile page they get mostly positive comments, maybe 1 out of 50 will be negative but since I started uploading to the Walking On The Boulevard page there have been tons of negative comments.
It doesn't bother me, I'm used to people commenting on my shaky videos on YouTube but I just find it odd that so many people what a type of video they know they don't like just so they can let other people know how much they dislike it. Some of the comments crack me up. people are so offended that someone other than Elvis is singing Suspicious Minds.
I do appreciate the views though, I'm getting 100 times more views on the like page than the profile, maybe even more.

I was working on dialog on one script when I had an idea for another script and I stopped what I was writing and jumped on the new script which is an Elvis related script. I stayed up until 1:30am to finish. It is as of yet untitled but turned out pretty good. It's funny and sad. It's mostly set in August 1977

The last couple years have been really slow with work taking up most of my time but I am back to work and have starting editing project 1 of 13 this past September. I'm over halfway through with my double feature length documentary/reunion film The Ocean Opry 10 years later.
The Ocean Opry operated in Panama City Beach Florida from 1978-2005 providing the beach community with country music and comedy for nearly 30 years. I got the original 5 back together in 2015 to reminisce about their days in PCB. during their run they had guest musicians that ranged from Ronie Milsap to Johnny Cash.
The film covers their early days before coming to PCB to opening the Opry to performing in front of hundreds of people nightly to the final years of the show. I was one of the people who saw their show in the 80s and 90s and I came back in 2004, a year before they closed the doors to shoot a short documentary on the show. I had no idea it was ending when i made my first of three shoots. I shot them in the spring of 2004, spring of 2005 and I shot them one last time in August of 2005 when they had their final show.

Bad news guys. Our short film, 'W**D BABY', was rejected by the Sidewalk Film Festival. Thank you all for your hard work, you really cracked me up during the filming of this sucker. I don't plan to submit the film anywhere else unless I come across some free festivals. If anyone knows of any free festivals in Alabama let me know. When I get some free time I will arrange some kind of screening for 'W**D BABY' in Birmingham.
Thanks again and sorry to have to deliver such bad news.
