Had a few concerns about the smoke. While it’s a bit smokey during the day the breeze at night has been clearing it up great. This was today at the arena. Going to be a beautiful day at the Duke Days Rodeo on Saturday.

Sometimes you come home to the perfect things. This card arrived in the mail today when I was at Vale Rodeo. This family is the best and it lifts your heart up when the kids let you know they enjoy their time here.

So I regret to inform the community that we will not be hosting the fireworks at the arena this year. Me and the family have decided to just enjoy the holiday and not have the added stress of hosting the fireworks. You all have been amazing with safety and responsibility over the last few years and that is not the existing issue at all. Hopefully we will be bringing it back next year. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

CJRS Finals is coming up fast!!!!
We will be having a pot luck on Saturday after the rodeo. Please join in and join us for some quality food and fun. we will be asking everyone to bring one of the following to the pot luck. We will be planning on serving around 200 people. So please comment below for what you can bring and the quantity if you are bringing meat.

1. Meat (dogs, burgers, pulled pork)
2. Sides
3. Desserts
4. Condiments
5. Utensils
6. Drinks

As we gear up for the Fourth of July festivities. I’d like to ask early on for everyone who comes out to enjoy the fireworks that you consider coming the morning of the 5th to help with clean up. This is all done by volunteers and while we love hosting and helping out. It’s always nice to get some community help with cleaning things up. Thanks in advance to everyone who can make it out to help us get the arena back and ready for the kids rodeo on the 8th. Hope everyone has a safe, fun and patriotic 4th of July. Arena is rolled, packed, and watered. Ready for the masses.
